What is The Community Foundation?
We are the heart of giving in Boulder County, because it is at the Foundation that knowledge about local needs and passionate community members meet sparking inspiration that leads to meaningful community impact. The Community Foundation is the place for inspired giving and has been proud to serve Boulder County residents since 1991.

Donors to The Community Foundation are individuals, families, businesses, and other foundations. We offer a variety of giving options including, but not limited to, The Community Trust —our unrestricted endowment serving Boulder County that leverages gifts of any size—and donor-advised funds—charitable vehicles designed to give donors the experience of a private foundation without the administrative responsibility.
Through donor-advised funds and a number of grant cycles, the Community Foundation connects resources to non-profit organizations in Boulder County and beyond. Groups working in the arts, civic life, education, the environment, and health and human services all benefit from grants, as well as numerous programs designed to build organizational capacity.

What is a Community Foundation?
The Community Foundation serving Boulder County is one of 1400 community foundations across the country and around the world dedicated to improving the quality of life in a particular region.
