The 14th Annual Boulder Asian Festival to be held August 16-17, 2008 in Downtown Boulder July 31, 2008 - The Boulder Asian Pacific Alliance is pleased to announce the 14th Annual Boulder Asian Festival to be held Saturday August 16 and Sunday, August 17, 2008, on the Pearl Street Mall in front of the Boulder County Courthouse in downtown Boulder. The festival will be held from 11am to 5pm on both days. This event is free and open to the public. We are also excited to announce that this year, the festival will be a Zero-Waste event.

The projected size is a 3,500–4,000 sq. ft. building designed to function as a 21st century community library. The Nederland Community Library District and Foundation Boards are committed to environmental protection and to building the new library in accordance with green standards.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Jun 20, 2008 CONTACT: Perla Delgado, Boulder County Community Action Programs, 303-441-3956 First class graduates from program designed to train diverse leaders, increase inclusiveness in countywide leadership (Boulder County, Colo.) – On June 26, the Boulder County community will gain 20 newly trained leaders representing a variety of races, ethnicities, ages, educational backgrounds and neighborhoods.

Boulder County Community Action Programs has a part time position open working with the Personal Investment Enterprise Program (PIE). It will start at 20 hrs a week and in six months go to 15 hrs. a week. See attached job description. One needs to apply through the County Human Resources office.
