Experience classic theatre at its best in the shadow of the majestic Flatiron Mountains. Enjoy gorgeous summer evenings with gourmet picnics, backstage tours, the Shakespeare gardens, free Green Show concerts, and “Prologue,” an introductory discussion with Producing Artistic Director Philip Sneed. The plays this summer are Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged). Bring a date or bring the family. (Kids 5 -12 can come for just $5.00, and students 13 – 17 get half-priced tickets for Orchestra and Upper Circle seats).

Steven Salaita, author and Assistant Professor of English at Virginia Tech will discuss his new book The Uncultured Wars: Arabs, Muslims and the Poverty of Liberal Thought, a powerful indictment of dominant American liberal-left discourse. Steven Salaita’s core themes are anti-Arab racism and Islamophobia and the inadequacy of critical thought amongst the liberal left. Salaita explores why Arabs are marginalized, and who seeks to benefit from this. Free.

Join grassroots activists, organizations and straight allies from across the nation as we demonstrate at Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell-the site where the Gay Pioneers launched our movement with protests each Fourth of July from 1965 to 1969.
Call on Congress and our new president for:

  • Passage of trans-inclusive hate crimes legislation and Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA)

  • Repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA)

  • Support for GLBT health issues

  • Equal benefits for same-sex families

  • Same-sex marriage Equality

To continue providing our services to the community, the Bias Incident Hotline Project (BIHP) is having our first annual Game-a-thon FUNdraiser.

The Game-a-thon serves three purposes: (1) To fund raise for BIH (2) To provide a fun, safe and friendly environment for the community to enjoy (3) To outreach to the Boulder County community about BIHP services.
