THE GRILLO HEALTH INFORMATION CENTER PROVIDES A COMFORTABLE, NON-THREATENING PLACE WITHIN THE BOULDER PUBLIC LIBRARY WHERE PATRONS SEEK FREE, UP-TO-THE-MINUTE HEALTH-RELATED INFORMATION FROM BOTH TRADITIONAL AND COMPLEMENTARY SOURCES. CARING AND KNOWLEDGEABLE VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE RESEARCH ASSISTANCE AND A SUPPORTIVE HUMAN CONNECTION. THE ACTIVITIES OF THE GRILLO CENTER SUPPORT THE DESIRE FOR A MORE ACTIVE ROLE IN ONE'S OWN HEALTH CARE DECISIONS.
