The BCN mission is to facilitate the broad use of information technology to benefit the community. With an emphasis on Internet technologies, BCN also is concerned with innovation for public sector applications.

Bringing People Together to Positively Impact Community Issues

VORP believes crime is primarily a violation of people and trust within a community, not just a violation of the law. VORP recognizes that wrongdoing and conflict can provide an opportuity to accept accountability and repair harm. VORP provides an invitation and process for achieving justice by reconciling and restoring community relationships.

Friends is an association of people interested in the work of the Lafayette Public Library. Friends encourages public interest and support for the Library. Friends supports the goals of the Library. Friends raises funds and accepts donations for the benefit of the Library. Friends uses these funds to enrich the services and programs provided by the Library.

The mission of Engineers Without BordersTM - USA (EWB-USA) is to partner with disadvantaged communities to improve their quality of life through implementation of environmentally, equitable, and economically sustainable engineering projects, while developing internationally responsible engineers and engineering students. EWB-USA's outward vision is of a world where all people have access to adequate sanitation, safe drinking water, and the resources to meet their other self-identified engineering and economic development needs. EWB-USA's initial inward vision is as a project coordination, funding, supervision and documentation organization that links university engineering schools with project opportunities, primarily in the developing world. In the future EWB-USA anticipates both professional and institutional partners and the ability to link this cadre of human capacity into the broad range of development programs.

Turning the Wheel Productions (TTW) is an intergenerational dance/theatre company committed to the collaborative creation of works of art that are rooted in and restorative for the communities in which we perform and teach. We strive to make art accessible to people of all ages, experiences, and cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, by modeling new systems that support healthy community.

Extend the healing ministry of Christ by caring for those who are ill and by nurturing the health of the people of our communities.

Provide services for people with developmental disabilities so that they can live fulfilling lives in their communities.
