The Caring Pregnancy Center
![]()
Over two years ago I was contemplating an abortion.
Luckily, I called the right place for counseling and I received great
help. There I realized that I did not want an abortion and there were
ways that I could keep my baby and continue with my education.
I was
set up with a wonderful mentor, who helped me with everything from
breaking the news to my parents to watching my son while I attended
classes. She has also become a great friend. I received great help
filling out my taxes and financial aid forms and was told about other
scholarships and grants available from CU. I also received referrals
for doctors and such through the counselors.
I cannot tell you how thankful I am to have discovered the ad in the
phonebook. I have met such wonderful and caring people who have truly
blessed my life. I got married to David on August 16, 1998, delivered
D.C. on August 23, and continued on with school even though he was born
the day before classes began. Both my husband and I stayed enrolled as
full time students. This May I graduated from CU and he from CSU. I
honestly know that my family would not be where we are today without
the people we've met and the help that we received by coming to the CPC.
