CU-Boulder Career Services' "Suit Yourself" Needs Your Donations

CU-Boulder Career Services is partnering with the Multicultural Engineering and Business Programs (MEP & MBSA) to collect gently worn business attire from the community during the summer months. We then sell the clothes to students at low cost at the "Suit Yourself" clothing sale in the fall, so that students are well-dressed for their job interviews.

Proceeds from the sale benefit the Multicultural Engineering Program and the Multicultural Business Students Association. For the past four years, we've raised over $6,000 each year, and the money helps MBSA and MEP students with scholarship money.
Many of our students come from financially challenged backgrounds, so the extra expense of purchasing a new interviewing suit is especially daunting for some students. Our goal is to help students purchase a quality suit that gives them confidence and also doesn't break the bank.Men's and women's suits, jackets, pants, shirts, skirts, ties and handbags will be accepted at Career Services (Willard Hall, garden level) and all Art Cleaners stores in Boulder through August 18. Donations are tax deductible.

If you have any questions about this program, please contact Ann Herrmann at Ann.Herrmann@colorado.edu or 303-492-8020.Thank you for supporting CU-Boulder students!
