Step Up Step Out Event at Twenty Ninth Street Seeks Volunteers to Create Wellness Bags

Printer-friendly version

Mixing social networking with philanthropy, Twenty Ninth Street is joining its 72 sister shopping centers across the country to create more than 50,000 wellness bags for women cancer patients nationwide in a single-day “Step Out Step Up” event.   Volunteers are needed to help create these wellness bags, which will be distributed locally to female cancer patients through the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center and the Boulder Community Hospital just in time for Mother’s Day.

Step Out Step Up volunteers will feel good as they’re doing good, enjoying female camaraderie along with treats and entertainment provided by Twenty Ninth Street and its many retailers.

Twenty Ninth Street is hosting “Step Out Step Up” to introduce its new partnership with the Step Up Women’s Network, a national non-profit membership organization dedicated to strengthening community resources for women and girls.  With a mission to Invest, Involve and Inspire, it differs from other organizations by rewarding members with valuable professional mentorship and social networking programs that allow them to benefit both professionally and personally.
