Administrative Endowment
The Administrative Endowment provides income which is the basis for The Community Foundation operating budget, and helps us pay rent and salaries. The fund then enables the staff to plan community events, such as Community Ventures, and offer assistance to nonprofits.

ArtsTrust
The ArtsTrust is a fund for the future of the Arts in Boulder County. As part of our general grants cycle, the Foundation makes grants to local organizations working in the arts.

Basic Needs Fund
The Basic Needs Fund is a fund that is earmarked for addressing the basic needs, specifically food, shelter, and health for individuals in Boulder County.

CivicTrust
The CivicTrust is a fund dedicated to promoting community building and connections.

Community Trust
The Community Trust is a permanent endowment fund whose interest is available each year to address the community’s most pressing needs and most important opportunities.

Doorways for the Disabled
Doorways for the Disabled was created to respond to emergency, short-term needs for people with disabilities. A grant is distributed to a nonprofit organization for a specific individual. Grant sizes range from $200-$500. If you would like to apply for a grant, please have the organization serving you contact the Programs Director at The Community Foundation for more information.

EducationTrust
The EducationTrust is a permanent resource to address the emerging issues in education in Boulder County.

EnvironmentTrust
The EnvironmenTrust is a permanent endowment set up to meet the most pressing needs and opportunities in the area of the environment and environmental education.

Everest '96 Memorial Fund
The Everest '96 Memorial Fund is designed to honor the eight climbers who died on the ill-fated 1996 Mount Everest expedition that Jon Krakauer chronicled in his book, Into Thin Air, and provides humanitarian aid to people in the Himalayas. It also helps humanitarian and environmental charities in the United States.

Health and Human Services Trust
The Health and Human Services Trust is a fund that is earmarked for improving the quality of life for families and children in Boulder County.

Millennium Trust
The Millennium Trust was established as a permanent fund of The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County to serve the needs of Boulder County residents in perpetuity. It was created by donations from thousands of Boulder County residents giving their last hour of income in 1999. Each year, Millennium Trust donors are selected at random to serve on the advisory committee. This group helps focus priorities for the year and makes grant recommendations to The Community Foundation Board of Trustees.

Open Door Fund
The Open Door Fund is a fund to improve the lives of gays and lesbians in Boulder County. It was created as a permanent endowment in 1996: to address problems and needs of GLBT persons in Boulder County; to build GLBT community; to foster collaboration and promote constructive dialogue between gay and non-gay people; and to provide a permanent source of support for organizations serving the GLBT community.

Social Venture Partners (SVP)
Social Venture Partners is a new way for business professionals to contribute actively to positive social change in Boulder County by investing expertise, time and money. The partners pool resources and apply a venture capital model to nonprofit enterprises and in the process build working relationships between experienced and passionate people in the business and nonprofit community.

Sue Burke MS Youth Foundation
The SBMSYF is dedicated to creating awareness about youth affected by MS, offering support and assistance to those affected, and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle while living with MS. Beginning in 2007, the Foundation will offer college scholarships to affected youth, as well as youth programming focused on active living. Ultimately, the Foundation hopes to serve as a resource center for youth and the families of youth challenged by MS.

Wildlife Legacy Trust
The Wildlife Legacy Trust is dedicated to providing for the preservation and protection of wildlife and their habitats, as well as the rescue and care of injured and orphaned wildlife.
