FUNDING
FOCUS FOR 2008
The Millennium Trust Advisory Committee is seeking concept letters from Boulder County non-profit organizations that serve low-income populations (individuals with incomes under the Self-Sufficiency Standards) to support capacity building opportunities for staff, volunteers, and organizations.
Proposed capacity building projects should include and address:

•Sustainable planning and practices;
•Innovative solutions; and/or
•Be Replicable
|
Components for capacity building projects are encouraged but not limited to include: |

•Training/mentoring;
•Technology acquisition and proficiency; and
•Capital Investments
|
FINALISTS MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING:
- NARRATIVE (preferred length
not to exceed four pages)
Include the following information in any order.
- Agency Information
- Mission statement, brief statement
of organization's goals and/or objectives;
- Brief summary of organization's
history;
- Description of current programs,
activities and accomplishments.
- Purpose of Grant:
- Brief statement of the issue to
be addressed; description of the constituency
served (include number served); target population;
how will they benefit?
- Description of goals and objectives
for the purposes of this grant;
- Description of activities planned
to accomplish these goals; is this a new or
ongoing activity on the part of the sponsoring
organization?
- Timetable for implementation (if
for specific program or capital project);
- Other organizations, if any, participating
in the activity;
- Long term sources/strategies for
funding at the end of the grant period.
- Strategy for evaluating the program/organizational
outcomes.
- ATTACHMENTS
Please attach the following:
- Board of Directors
- List of names and qualifications
of key staff;
- Most recent fiscal year-end financial
statement;
- Current agency budget;
- Program/project budget with
clear indications of funding priorities;
- List of major contributors and amounts
to organization/program; include in-kind donations.
