About the Event:
JVA’s Executive Director Academy. This is a six-week crash course including sessions on management, governance, fundraising, finances, marketing, grantwriting, evaluation and much more. In addition, the academy is an affordable way for working professionals to get more advanced nonprofit management skills. The next academy begins April 1, 2008. JVA had an incredible class of 18 last fall and hopes to have a similar turnout this spring. Here is the basic information: • The class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m. • It starts April 1 and continues until May 8. • Classes will be held at JVA Consulting (2465 Sheridan Blvd.). • The tuition is $795.
