About the Event: 
The 2008 Schedule, Through New Eyes, the Heart Will Feel, or Por Ojos Nuevos, El Corazón Lo Sentirá is: Sat., April 26 2:00 P.M. The New Coloradans; Thurs., May 1 6:30 P.M. Clemente; Sun., May 4 2:00 P.M. Escuela; Sat., May 10 2:00 P.M. Rights on the Line: Vigilantes at the Border, or Derechos Sobre La Línea: Caza-Migrantes en La Frontera; Tues., May 13 6:30 P.M. Uprooted Refugees of a Global Economy A reception for guests from Belgium (the US-Belgium Cultural Crossing: An International Network of Local Practitioners Serving Immigrant Communities) will begin the evening. A Dialogues format will follow the film for discussion among our guests and attendees The evening will be co-hosted by Dialogues on Immigrant Integration. Sat., May 17 2:00 P.M. El Centro Su Teatro from Denver will perform, Francesca y la Muerte, a play done in the Mexican carpa tradition—a vaudevillesque performance style dating back to the Mexican Revolution. The actors will discuss the play with the audience. The film will be, De Colores, Lesbian and Gay Latinos: Stories of Strength, Family and Love; a discussion will follow. A new U.S. citizen celebration will also be included in the closing evening of the festival.
