The Community Foundation is proud to announce the launching of the Nonprofit Scheduling Calendar on April 3, 2002. At the request of Boulder County nonprofits, this calendar will serve as a common online location to schedule events and fundraisers to avoid date conflicts.

In the spring of 2001, a University of Colorado at Boulder course called Technology for the Community was offered for the first time. This course allowed students to develop computational products designed to serve the needs of local non-profit organizations. In the fall of 2001, a group of students from the class offered to take on the challenge of developing this calendar. With the help of Ann Dixon of Bolderwomen these students developed the calendar template.

It is our goal that every nonprofit organization in Boulder County will enter its events onto this calendar. At the same time that those dates are being entered into the calendar, we hope that nonprofits looking to schedule an event will use the calendar to find an open date. View the calendar.

PLEASE NOTE: To access and add information to the new Culture of Giving Nonprofit Scheduling Calendar, your nonprofit MUST be registered on the CultureofGiving.org website. To register your nonprofit, go to www.cultureofgiving.org, click on "Boulder County Nonprofits" and then click on the link that says "To register your nonprofit, CLICK HERE." When registering your nonprofit, you will be asked to choose a username and password. The username and password will be used both to get into the site to update your nonprofit’s information, AND to enter information onto the calendar.
