A Donor Advised Endowed
Fund is a fund for now and the future; donors recommend
grants from the interest earnings of the fund. Such
funds tend to grow over time and benefit the community
in perpetuity. Sample
Agreement.
A Donor Advised Gift
Fund accommodates more active givers. Once a Gift
Fund is established, the donor may recommend grants
from the principal of the fund and may in fact spend
it down to zero. The Gift Fund is the perfect option
for the donor who wants to make one tax-deductible gift
now and focus on the specifics - with the help of our
staff, if requested - at a later date.
Sample Agreement.
The Donor Advised
Impact Fund offers a unique alternative. Like an
Endowed Fund the Impact Fund is invested in The Community
Foundation's investment pool allowing the principal
to grow over time. Donors may request that up to 20%
of the fund be granted each year–increasing grant
amounts to organizations the donors wish to immediately
help. Sample Agreement.
An Agency
Endowment is a long term fund held and managed by
The Community Foundation on behalf of a nonprofit organization.
The nonprofit organization receives annual distributions
for unrestricted use. Sample
Agreement.
