Statement
of Purpose/Activities:
Founded in 1998, the Boulder County Latina Women's League
mission is to create educational and professional advancement
opportunities for Latina girls and women residing in
Boulder County. This mission is accomplished through
the following activities:
- Networking.
- Social activities.
- Community service projects.
- Dorothy Trujillo Book Scholarship
- Monthly meetings with guest speakers and presentations.
- Mentoring and advocacy.
The League includes members from business, education,
government, health and mental health organizations,
as well as many other walks of life.
Membership is open to those who -- regardless of age,
national or ethnic origin, creed, disability, gender,
or sexual orientation -- wish to promote the educational,
personal, and cultural advancement of Latina girls and
women within Boulder County.
The BCLWL is a non-profit organization (501(c)(3)) that
is not affiliated with any political party or organization.
