Statement of Purpose/Activities:

This project is through the Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition and is being funded through the Knight Foundation and the Early Learning Opportunity Grant (ELOA). The Knight Foundation provided the CSPC a grant over five years to implement activities that are designed for the Latino Community in Boulder County. Included in that grant is the development of a Latino Early care and Education Task Force that would work alongside the Early Care and Education Council of Boulder County. With the ELOA grant the CSPC is in the process of developing a cultural broker (cultural competency guide) that ECE providers can use in outreach to the Latino community.
