The Expanding Leadership Initiative (ELI) is a program of The Community Foundation to increase the number of people of color on staff and on boards in non-profit organizations and nurture multicultural leadership.

The ELI Staff Multicultural Training Program will provide quarterly training sessions for the non-profit community at-large on diversity, inclusiveness and multiculturalism. These sessions will provide an opportunity for multicultural trainings for nonprofit new hires and organizations that have not provided training in the last three years.

Topics and presenters will be under the advisement of the ELI Advisory Board. The sessions will be specific and focused. This program has two primary impacts—institutionalizing the importance of multicultural awareness and understanding in the non-profit sector and acknowledging the depth of trained facilitators we have in the community.
