Alice Swett

Ms. Swett has managed the City of Boulder’s Youth Opportunities Program since 1997.  The Program strengthens the Boulder community through developing youth leaders, funding opportunities for youth, fostering youth civic participation, and building local capacity to meet youth needs.  In addition to serving on the board of The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County, Ms. Swett also serves on the Board of Directors of Reading Village, an organization which supports rural Guatemalan teen-agers who promote literacy in their communities.  She enjoys speaking French and Spanish, commuting by bicycle, and supporting the work of varied justice-oriented organizations. Alice is a former member of the Foundation's Open Door Fund Advisory Committee.
