William J. Farrell
Mr. Farrell and his wife Suzanne have lived in Colorado since 1981. His commercial banking career spans almost 37 years - seven of them in the Boulder/Broomfield market where he currently serves as Market President of Wells Fargo Bank, the county’s largest market share bank. Mr. Farrell’s current community service includes co-founder and treasurer of a Park and Recreation District (Colorado Special District Association Board Member of the Year Award 2009), Chair of the Wells Fargo Colorado Health Grants Committee, Channel 9 Who Cares Board of Governors, trustee of The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County and is a member of the Boulder Chamber of Commerce Economic Council. He and his wife of almost 34 years (who retired in 2011 after 30 years in public elementary school education) have three children college-age and beyond. Mr. Farrell earned a BS in Business Administration from Butler University and a MBA from Indiana University.
