Heather Lee joined the Community Foundation as the Data and Grants Administrator in June 2023. Heather’s career has centered around utilizing software automation to help educational institutions and nonprofits improve services for constituents.

Most recently, Heather led the data quality and reporting compliance initiatives for the Denver office of the International Rescue Committee and the state of Colorado Refugee Services Program. In previous roles, she used her data skills as an administrator and a consultant to streamline processes and improve workflows for K-12 schools, nonprofits, and higher educational institutions. Heather began her career in fundraising working with donor events, annual fund appeals, and capital campaign planning.

Heather earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University. A twenty year resident of Boulder County, she has served as volunteer and advocate for a range of nonprofits and educational institutions.
