Severin Lier joined the Community Foundation as Senior Communications Manager in June 2023. In this role, he leads the overall development and execution of communications tactics and campaigns.
Previously, Severin worked in the nonprofit arts sector, creating and implementing content-driven marketing and communications strategies to share the stories of industry-leading performing arts institutions. His strategic and clear-minded approach to storytelling fosters deep connection with audiences, donors, and communities alike. Severin’s most recent role was Associate Communications Director at Minnesota Opera.
Severin received his Bachelor of Arts in Music and Management from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. He and his wife are returning to their home state of Colorado where they look forward to spending time with family, getting involved in the local music scene, and enjoying the mountains.
