Alexis Miles is passionate about communication that transforms hearts and minds, and is a founding board member of the Motus Theater, which uses original theater to facilitate dialogue on critical issues of our time and build alliances across diverse segments of the community. She has a long history of volunteerism and social activism, and has done board and other volunteer work for national, state, and local organizations – including the American Friends Service Committee, Colorado SHRM State Council, and Boulder Community Development Advisory Committee. She is a Senior Professional in Human Resources, the senior-most human resources certification, and currently works as Vice President Human Resources at Tattered Cover Book Store. A 2011-2012 Boulder County Leadership Fellow, Alexis is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and a member of the Michigan State Bar.
