
Gil Sparks received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and worked in senior level labor relations and human resources positions in Arizona, Montana, and Alaska for over 14 years. Gil then attended Law school at University of Puget Sound and practiced employment and labor law in Wenatchee, Washington for 33 years. Gil retired in 2020 and moved to Lyons, Colorado. Gil has been a proud member of Rotary for over 15 years, and served on many boards, including Community Foundation North Central Washington, Pybus Public Market and Pybus Charitable Foundation, Wenatchee Valley Museum, and Wenatchee Valley YMCA. Gil is currently the president of the Lyons Community Foundation, a subsidiary of Community Foundation Boulder County, and Chair of the Lyons Regional Library District board.
