
Yvette joined Boulder County, as Assistant County Administrator in June 2022. In partnership with the County Administrator and County Commissioners, she provides strategic consultation on highly complex issues and county government operations, often spanning multiple disciplines aligned to best serve the community. Prior to joining Boulder County, Yvette was Assistant City Manager for the City of Boulder where she led economic development, partnership initiatives and Community Vitality capitalizing on her earlier senior leadership positions in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors addressing issues of strategy, community engagement, law, fundraising and global inclusion. She holds business and juris doctorate degrees from Pace University Lubin School of Business and the School of Law, was a member of the 2012 Class of the Urban Land Institute Center of Excellence and completed the Harvard Kennedy School certificate for State & Local Government and the LEAD program at the University of Virginia. Yvette is also a member of the CU Center for Leadership Board of Advisors and chairs their DEI subcommittee. She is a member of the International City/County Management Association and was the concept originator of #TREEOPP, a Knight Cities Challenge award winning program (2016).
