One year ago, dozens of leaders from our local education, business, civic and faith sectors gathered with a common concern: Too many children were falling into our early learning achievement gap.
We formed a task force and drafted a Community Solutions Action Plan in support of one visionary and unifying goal: 90% of Boulder County’s 3rd-graders will read at grade-level by 3rd grade.
Today more than 300 community members – more than half of them Latino parents – are engaged in this process, and more are joining the conversation every week.
