Help inform our advocacy work

Public policy is an important part of creating systemic change, and is a best practice of community foundations. Your Community Foundation has a long history of supporting education measures in public policy, as well as measures in direct support of local nonprofits.

We recently adopted a new vision for the foundation — of supporting an equitable Boulder County — which calls for the creation of systems where all can thrive. In other words, equity is systems change. Public policy is central to this work since it can advance impact over time not otherwise possible.

In the spirit of collaboration, the board and staff of Community Foundation Boulder County want to hear from you — our donors, grantees and community stakeholders. Our survey should take about 15 minutes to complete (the deadline is Sept. 23). It asks for your opinions about the ballot issues facing Boulder County voters this election season. It also asks for your input on what advocacy roles your Community Foundation should play as we lean into our vision of supporting a more equitable Boulder County. Finally, it asks about who you are.

We plan to use this information to inform our thinking, and it may be shared, in the aggregate, for public consumption. All answers are optional and your identity will be kept confidential by Community Foundation Boulder County.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey by noon on Sept. 23 to inform our collective work.
