We’re celebrating a quarter-century of catalyzing community to improve the quality of life for everyone who calls Boulder County home.

We’re celebrating a quarter-century of catalyzing community to improve the quality of life for everyone who calls Boulder County home.

As a community catalyst, we respond to immediate needs and anticipate future challenges. And, as a collaborator and a convener, we promote inclusivity and provide leadership on key issues, working with community-minded individuals and organizations that want to make a difference. Specifically:

What makes this community a great place to live, work and play? Our biennial Boulder County TRENDS Report informs the work of the Community Foundation and the people with whom we work. TRENDS is a valued community resource to plug into local data, follow emerging trends, and get inspired toward a better Boulder County.

How do we ignite collaboration for maximum impact? By partnering with individuals, diverse nonprofits and others who are passionate about making local communities stronger.

We understand our community’s most urgent needs. Whether it’s a flood, a fire or other critical concern, we’re your go-to for smart, meaningful philanthropy – when and where it matters most. Learn More

Indeed, since our founding in 1991, the Community Foundation has granted $68M to nonprofits representing a broad range of funding areas – including health and human services, basic needs, children and youth, education, civic engagement, arts and culture, and animals and the environment.
