Hurricane Emergency Response Briefing for Philanthropic and Business Leaders

In a devastating hurricane season, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) staff are on the ground and working with local, state and federal officials. Your support is needed to address the long-term health threats facing our neighbors and fellow citizens in the continental United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

While many organizations provide aid during a disaster, the CDC Foundation’s role is unique because it tackles health threats that arise in the days, weeks, months, and even years after an emergency. A response of this scale must be supported by governments, businesses, philanthropies, and NGOs working together.
In partnership with the CDC Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Kaiser Permanente are supporting the CDC’s vital response to strengthen the public health protection infrastructure, ranging from helping to stand up health clinics to providing critical response supplies to bringing on staff in support of local communities.
Join us for an emergency briefing with the CDC’s leadership for philanthropic and corporate thought leaders on Wednesday, October 4, 3-4 p.m. ET.
