Boulder, Broomfield, Gilpin,and Larimer Counties.
Longs Peak Energy Conservation provides weatherization of houses, mobile
homes, and units up to a 5-plex. Serves owners and renters.
Weatherization may include:
New 90% efficient furnace
New refrigerator
Insulation
Air Sealing
Safety Checks
Energy Audit
Up to $6,500 in improvements (depending on structural need.)
Save approximately $400 per heating season after weatherization
Automatic qualifiers but must show proof of legal residency:
Medicaid
OAP (Old Age Pension)
AND (Aid to Needy and Disabled)
SSI (Supplemental Security Income)
TANF
LEAP
Or one can qualify by income at 200% of federal poverty limit.
