Many of us work in an office setting. A lot of us here in Boulder County — 11 percent — report working from home, according to the TRENDS report.
The TRENDS director’s workplace “view” looks like this. On the morning of Dec. 9, 2015, The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County was honored to be included in the all-staff holiday celebration and conference for Boulder County Housing & Human Services.
The half-day event featured many discussions and an in-depth panel by community partners. We helped to kick off the event with a brief TRENDS presentation, presenting data on what we know about our county. We have a lot going for us in Boulder County, with a highly educated workforce and high median incomes. But we have growing inequality, too, which presents us with an opportunity to improve the quality of life here for all.
