Community Catalyst

Today, thanks to extraordinarily generous donors, we are making the third round of grants from the COVID-19 Response Fund Boulder County, as part of our Phase 1: Prevention strategy. All told, $121K is being granted countywide, bringing the total granted from the fund since March 20 to $391K.
The Community Foundation is providing COVID-19 funding in three phases – prevention, intervention, and recovery. Learn more about our second round of grants to frontline nonprofits, prioritizing people experiencing homelessness, seniors living in poverty, family resource centers, and emergency food provision. Additionally, these grants expand our COVID-19 grantmaking to include domestic violence shelters, nonprofit medical clinics, and organizations serving undocumented families and individuals.
This week, your Community Foundation Boulder County team is focusing on four primary tasks: preparing the second slate of grants to be made from our COVID-19 Response Fund Boulder County; learning about how the CARES Act will support nonprofits so we can help local groups navigate the application process; working with individual donors to help them make the most difference during this health crisis; and supporting connection among us all through TRENDS Diary.
If you are a Boulder County nonprofit Executive Director or CEO, stay tuned for ways to confidentially share stories of solution and connection, to build emotional support, and to reinforce that we're all in this together.
