Today, thanks to extraordinarily generous donors, we are making the third round of grants from the COVID-19 Response Fund Boulder County, as part of our Phase 1: Prevention strategy. All told, $121K is being granted countywide, bringing the total granted from the fund since March 20 to $391K.

Ashish and Lizzie Kothari – along with their young son, Ashwin – share a sense of gratitude and compassion, along with a commitment to actively help their neighbors in need.

“I really appreciate that our Community Foundation is taking equity concerns seriously by being as proactive as possible to ensure that our money goes to the organizations who serve the most vulnerable people in our community.”
The Community Foundation is providing COVID-19 funding in three phases – prevention, intervention, and recovery. Learn more about our second round of grants to frontline nonprofits, prioritizing people experiencing homelessness, seniors living in poverty, family resource centers, and emergency food provision. Additionally, these grants expand our COVID-19 grantmaking to include domestic violence shelters, nonprofit medical clinics, and organizations serving undocumented families and individuals.
