Kicking off August in style, the Center for Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) at Front Range Community College (FRCC) celebrated the grand opening of a new training center for careers in high-tech manufacturing.
“Our mission is to create a critical mass of Latino parents who are well informed and skilled to help their children enter kindergarten ready to learn,” says ELPASO Executive Director Tere Garcia.
"Our goal is to mix things up – in terms of language, culture, and socio-economic status – in the biggest ‘pot’ we can. Then, in addition to making sure that all our students have a great educational experience, a lot of our learning is social learning."
