“Donating to the Community Foundation is one of the easiest, most impactful ways to contribute to this wonderful community we live in."
Given the extraordinary circumstances of this year, we hope you’ll consider supporting our crisis interventions (COVID-19 Response Fund and 2020 Fires Relief Fund), as well as our annual operating fund, which enables us to do this critical work in Boulder County.
The 2020 Fires Relief Fund has been established at Community Foundation Boulder County in partnership with Boulder County, with initial gifts totaling $75,000. An anonymous donor has provided $50,000, and an additional $10,000 has been committed by Mile High United Way. Community Foundation Boulder County has also committed $15,000 to help seed the fund.
Your Community Foundation is monitoring the Cal-wood Fire closely, and we're in contact with grantee partners and local officials. For now, please consider making a gift to one or more of the nonprofit partners affected by the fire or working to address the needs of our neighbors.
