Great minds contemplate the value of leap years (and days and seconds and…). It seems this oddity in the calendar makes people think! Well, if that’s the case, we at The Community Foundation hope people will think about how to make this leap year meaningful.
We each have twenty-four extra hours this year. If we all funneled energy towards doing something great for our community and a stretch from what we normally do—whether on 2/29, spread out during the year, or symbolically—we could make an impact.
That’s why The Community Foundation is inviting everyone in Boulder County to “Take a Leap in 2012.” We’ll be sharing action ideas and inspiring stories throughout the year.
