We have liftoff!
The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County’s TRENDS report is out and available for any member of our community who wants it. It’s available in hard copy and online, https://www.commfound.org/trendsmagazine. There is also a downloadable version, by chapter, at that location.
What a couple of weeks we’ve had! After 8,000 copies of TRENDS arrived at our doorstep, we’ve been meeting with people to discuss its content nonstop. TRENDS is a project 20 years in the making, and we present it with pleasure to highly engaged local audiences. The traditional Boulder launch party, held at the Boulder Public Library, was a success. For the first time, we held a second launch party: In Longmont, at the Longmont Public Library. We enjoyed ourselves so much in that fast-growing city, we vowed to make it a tradition.
In just two weeks, between the breakfast launch parties and a few special events, we’ve already given TRENDS presentations to more than 270 Boulder County neighbors. In addition to serving as a community resource, the TRENDS report connects us to our community, and is used by The Community Foundation to inform and focus our work and grantmaking.
