The 15 Forever Youth Advisory Committee is now accepting grant proposals from registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, youth-serving organizations that are working to address sexual assault and/or mental health needs in Boulder County.
We believe in the imagination and ingenuity of young people. That’s why, since 2006, the Community Foundation’s 15 Forever program has been promoting civic engagement and leadership among Boulder County youth.
The 15 Forever Youth Advisory Committee is now accepting grant proposals from registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, youth-serving organizations that meet at least one of the following needs in Boulder County:
Sexual Assault
We’re struck by the high rates of sexual assault, specifically in youth and young adult populations. We believe that by funding nonprofits working to put a stop to sexual assault, we can make a direct difference, as they are already working with schools, youth, and parents.
Mental Health
We’re alarmed that, among high schoolers in Colorado, the suicide rate is nearly double that of the rest of the United States. We hope to address this issue, as well as reduce stigmatization.
