Communities in Colorado, California, and elsewhere are addressing wide-ranging wildfires. Here’s how to help.
Communities in Colorado, California, and elsewhere are addressing wide-ranging wildfires.
Smoke from these wildfires has blanketed skies all the way to Kansas, which is especially devastating as we all continues to adapt to the challenges of COVID-19 (e.g., limiting the capacity to mobilize emergency shelters, fire fighting crews, and additional public health burdens on an already overwhelmed health care system).
Consider donating to the California Wildfires Recovery Fund. To support the recovery efforts for fires burning in other parts of North America, also including Oregon, donate to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy’s Disaster Recovery Fund.
