At an informal reception on Oct. 14 honoring the 2014 Millennium Trust grantees, Conrad Lattes – former board member of The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County and currently a volunteer teacher with Intercambio: Uniting Communities – recalled the impact of the community fund. Intercambio received its first Millennium Trust grant in 2000; this month, it was awarded another Millennium Trust grant to strengthen its English for Understanding the U.S. School System program, and to ensure children’s access to resources that help them succeed in school.
