The Veterans Fund Advisory Committee is seeking proposals for projects that support the Boulder County veterans.
The Veterans Fund, a permanent endowment of Community Foundation Boulder County, supports Boulder County veterans and their families by raising money and distributing grants to community nonprofits to create, sustain, or expand programs and projects for veterans and their families.
The committee is interested in projects that:
- provide outreach to veterans who are isolated, underserved, or otherwise marginalized;
- create spaces where veterans can gather;
- facilitate connection between older and younger veterans;
- identify and utilize best practices for services to veterans; and
- rely on veterans to help other veterans.
Priority will be given to those projects that can demonstrate strong veteran involvement and engagement in the planning and implementation of the proposed project.
