15 Forever was established at the foundation in 2006 to promote civic engagement and leadership among Boulder County youth. Since then, this youth-driven program has granted nearly $200K. In 2018, YouthRoots will administer 15 Forever. YouthRoots is a nationwide teen philanthropy program for high school students with a passion to make a difference in their communities. It provides a robust leadership curriculum with a real world experiential learning program where students complete the philanthropic process.

“We’ve been familiar with the work YouthRoots has been doing, and we are continually impressed with the impact they are having on youth in the Denver-Metro area,” said Benjamin Martinez, Grants and Program Assistant for Community Foundation Boulder County. “YouthRoots has been receiving increased attention and accolades as people learn more about them, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring the YouthRoots model to our 15 Forever program.”
