Severin Lier joined Community Foundation Boulder County in June of 2023. In his role, he leads the overall development and execution of communications tactics and campaigns.
Previously, Severin worked in the nonprofit arts sector, collaborating with team members to create and implement content-driven marketing and communications strategies and share the stories of industry-leading performing arts institutions. His strategic and clear-minded approach to storytelling fosters deep connection with audiences, donors, and communities alike. Severin’s most recent role was Associate Communications Director at Minnesota Opera.
Severin received his Bachelor of Arts in Music and Management from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. He and his wife returned to their home state of Colorado in 2023 after several years spent in the Twin Cities.
