Bridge to Justice (B2J) – a grantee of your Community Foundation – has launched a new healthcare and food assistance project to help low- to moderate-income local residents with healthcare and food assistance matters.
A year ago on this blog, we highlighted the important work of Bridge to Justice, which provides civil legal services to moderate- and lower-income earners in Boulder County and along the Front Range.
Since then,
Bridge to Justice (B2J) – a
grantee of your Community Foundation – has launched a new healthcare and food assistance project to help low- to moderate-income local residents with healthcare and food assistance matters [e.g., Medicaid, food stamps (SNAP), health exchange plans, and tax credits for health plans].
“We offer legal assistance with applications, denials, appeals, and terminations of Medicaid or food stamps,” says Lisa Cayton, B2J paralegal.
“We’re especially excited to announce that this is now a free service for those up to 80 percent
of the Area Median Income Cap for Boulder County,” she adds.
