Can you start by telling us about yourself?
Originally from Texas, my love for adventure, nature, and sunshine brought me to Boulder in early 2024 by way of Atlanta (and before that New York City).
I have a background in international affairs and have always been passionate about traveling and experiencing as much of the world as possible. I have had the pleasure of spending time in Europe, Southeast Asia, and Africa and have worked with various human rights and democracy focused nonprofit organizations.
Throughout my first year in Colorado, I have had the best time embracing my new community and making Boulder my new home. I look forward to growing and thriving alongside Boulder over the years to come!
What brought you to the community foundation?
When I made the move to Boulder, I really wanted to immerse myself in the community and join an organization that was focused on long-term positive impacts for real people. I was inspired by the community foundation’s mission as well as its ability to identify and address community needs in so many different ways. I felt that working with the community foundation provided me with an amazing opportunity to work towards progress every day and to build meaningful relationships with fellow community members.
What do you like best about your role as Development Associate?
I love getting the opportunity to work with a variety of local nonprofits, which allows me to better understand the needs present in the community as well as see the impressive work being done to address those needs. I am constantly growing and learning in this role!

Hiking—especially in the summer when there is a lake to jump in at the end. I also generally love soaking up the beautiful Colorado sun whenever possible.
