The upcoming TRENDS Report provides a clear-eyed perspective on the opportunities that lie before us – and how each one of us can make a difference to improve the quality of life for everyone who calls Boulder County home.
Today, I’m thrilled to introduce the October launch of the 2017-19 edition of our Boulder County TRENDS Report. I encourage you to tune in to our blog, our monthly radio show, and regular updates on social media – including the foundation’s brand new presence on Instagram! – for news and knowledge shared from TRENDS. In the weeks and months ahead, we’ll also be announcing free community events to help you delve into current community data, including TRENDS events in Longmont on Oct. 10 and in Boulder on Oct. 16.
For the first time – in addition to available hardcopies of the report – TRENDS will be available online in its entirety. That means the data, stories, community insights, and recommendations we’ve compiled are easily accessible at your fingertips. I encourage you to create a TRENDS bookmark in your browser for your quick reference to our new searchable database of more than 150 indicators of our community’s social, economic and environmental health.

Why the buzz? Because in our more than 26 years’ catalyzing community toward a better Boulder County, we’ve learned the value of informed decision-making – and that, armed with knowledge and understanding about the toughest challenges we face as a community, we inspire ideas and innovations, and accomplish more together than we do alone.
Each issue-themed chapter of the Community Foundation Boulder County’s new TRENDS Report highlights the people, places, and hard-earned wisdom of those most affected and most involved in the fabric of our community – both its problems, and its tremendous promise and wide-ranging potential. As you’ll see for yourself, TRENDS breathes life into the facts and figures that clarify and contextualize local trends.
Best of all, TRENDS provides a clear-eyed perspective on the opportunities that lie before us – and how each one of us can make a difference to improve the quality of life for everyone who calls Boulder County home.
How will you use TRENDS to ignite action in our Boulder County?
