“A Public Affair”: keeping families in crisis out of homelessness

The rising housing costs in Boulder County have been well-documented and are making it difficult for even the middle class to live here. But for the county’s most vulnerable populations, the lack of affordable housing presents a real crisis.

Hear OUR Center Executive Edwina Salazar and Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA)’s Executive Director Julie Van Domelen discuss the issue, and talk about the work their organizations do to keep families in crisis out of homelessness.

Erika Stutzman, TRENDS director for The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County, hosted this broadcast of “A Public Affair” on July 27, 2015 as part of the foundation’s partnership with KGNU. If you missed the live broadcast, listen here.
