Dear TRENDS Diary -I love to make surreal pieces that mess with people’s minds, and create art that gets the viewer to think.I made a bench for Colorado Chautauqua and Cal-Wood’s “Art in the Park”. The bench is based on legends early civilizations would tell about how...

Dear TRENDS Diary -We've never been business partners before, or even colleagues within a similar field. When we realized that starting our own farm was finally becoming a reality last fall, we brainstormed possible names. Brett suggested "Switch Gears Farm"...

Dear TRENDS Diary -Every major change I’ve made in my life, I’ve done in the context of a group of supportive women. I graduated from Emerge Colorado in June, a program whose goal is to get Democratic women to run for office and win. My Emerge classmates and coaches...
Dear TRENDS Diary - I have been narrating audiobooks since 2008, and, since the pandemic, have been doing so in my home recording studio out of my basement in Longmont. So far, I have recorded more than 700 audiobooks, predominantly for the National Library...
Dear TRENDS Diary,I graduated from high school in 2020—a COVID graduate. My parents were pushing me to go to college. I definitely wasn’t interested. Instead, I wanted to pursue gaming. I gamed all during high school. I found it fun, engaging and relaxing. And I was...
